It’s not often I’m lost for words, but even I’m ever-so-slightly gobsmacked at just how utterly gorgeous my garden is now. I was hoping for this cacophony of colour by mid August, so to have it already is like some sort of magical and wonderful blessing.
Since this is my first blog post, I will start by introducing myself.
I have been designing gardens for over 30 years – it was originally a way of working part-time while my children were small, and has developed over time into a business that takes up most of my life.
Anyone with an interest in gardening, whether growing vegetables or flowers, will find owning a greenhouse invaluable. One of the plus points of a greenhouse is that it serves multiple purposes, giving it incredible flexibility to suit your growing needs and preferences.
Forget flaming June, this is super flipping sizzling Scorchio! I can’t remember a mid summer this hot since 1976. That year I got myself in rather hot water when I filled up my paddling pool and threw all my teddies and soft toys in it with me!
Growing your own vegetables is a fun and rewarding hobby that is coming back into fashion due to the focus on healthy organic eating. Gardening has been proven to be good for both our physical and mental health, and it’s accessible to anyone who has their own outdoor space. Not only that but it could save you money in the long run, too.
