Men increasingly interior design-oriented

The male population is growing increasingly aware of issues relating to interior design according to LG.

A new piece of research by electronics and appliances firm suggests that men are becoming more concerned with how their homes appear.

The figures suggest that six out of ten Brits feel that the design of their television is important in the home, while two-thirds state that the TV is a crucial element in their interior design decisions.

General product manager for LG Anthony Yang states that interior design is becoming increasingly integral to peoples homes.

"Design is now critical to consumers when making a purchasing decision – our research shows this and we see it every day on the shop floor," he adds.

Meanwhile, interior design firm mch interiors advises people who are considering investing in a conservatory to plan a furniture layout first as this will allow for features such as plug sockets to be placed in useful and appropriate locations.
