Be inspired by Somerset garden

Wellfield Barn in Somerset has been made over by the couple that moved into it and those looking to change their own property might take some inspiration.

Anything from a bespoke conservatory, garden office or pool house – there are lots of ways a standard back yard can be altered.

But according to the Telegraph, David and Virginia Nasmyth decided to add a "sunken wall" to theirs, to divide the rolling hills nearby and their own land.

Curved paths mean there are several routes around the garden – and this is on purpose.

"There are three walks you can take across this lawn and that is no accident," said Mr Nasmyth.

The couple try to grow organic produce and they share the land with hares, foxes and pheasants.

Meanwhile, ex-Gardeners World presenter Monty Don told the Telegraph this week about his love for organics and how he has grown this way strictly for 15 years.

He advised never to grow anything inorganically.
