Young gardening talents unite for London show

Two of the UK’s hottest young gardening talents are to host a demonstration later this month at the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) London Plant and Design Show.

Melissa Jolly won a silver medal at BBC Gardeners’ World Live in 2010 for her show garden.

Meanwhile, Hugo Bugg won the RHS Young Designer of the Year award in 2010 at RHS Show Tatton Park.

Commenting on the rooftop show, which will take place between February 15th and 16th, Mr Bugg said he hoped it would show what is possible on a small scale.

He went on to say that his preparation for this show is no different to any other, adding: "Every garden needs a huge amount of thought and preparation before it can be built."

Ms Jolly explained that the garden they create will be prepared in advance and put together "like a piece of flat-pack furniture" over the two days.
