Water to feature strongly at RHS Chelsea Flower Show
Water is to be a major theme at this years Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Chelsea Flower Show, according to its organiser.
Robert Sweet tells the Times that the aquatic features at 2008s event will be "spectacular" and much larger than visitors are used to seeing.
"Water will cascade, pour and slide. It will be wonderful," he explains.
Ecological awareness is also to be a theme of the show, as Mr Sweet states that all the water will be drawn from the shows very-own on-site bore hole.
He adds that a range of devices to help environmentally-friendly gardeners collect water will also be on display at the show, ranging from traditional water butts to innovative grey water schemes.
In related news, it was reported in recent days that a garden co-designed by the widow of former Beatle George Harrison as a tribute to his life will be on display at the show.
