Royal Horticultural Society – Upcoming shows and tours 2016

If you’re a self proclaimed ‘green fingers’ and you want to get a little inspiration from some of the world’s best horticulturists, or you are just looking at taking the family to a great outdoor event with lots of activities, then the RHS shows and tours for 2016 are ideal!

From floral displays and unique markets to fun days and horticultural help, there’s a little something for everyone.

Here’s the list of upcoming events:

  1. On tour at the Lambeth Country Show and Marylebone Farmers Market

This year, the RHS ‘on tour’ shows offer a little something for all the family.

The Lambeth Country Show (Brockwell park, 16-17th July)

You can expect to find stands offering gardening advice from experts, quality plants to browse and buy, informative talks, craft workshops and master classes, independent food producers, a bustling atmosphere and maybe the odd celebrity horticulturist.

There’s also live music, children’s activities, food stalls and more!

Check out the highlights from last years show.

Marylebone Farmers’ Market (Cramer Street car pk, 11th Sept)

The Marylebone Farmers Market put the ‘Marylebone Village’ on the map as a destination for great food. On Sundays, the market site usually has between 30 and 40 stalls and is heaving with locals doing their weekly shopping, as well as food and plant enthusiasts from all over the capital.

There’s also an abundance of foliage as well as a collection of striking plants and flowers.

All RHS ‘on tour’ events are free, so it’s a perfect excuse for a family outing!

  1. RHS Flower Show Tatton Park (Knutsford, 20-24th July)

This year’s Tatton Park flower show features an array of exhibitors – including ourselves! Thats right, the Gabriel Ash team will once again be present at one of the biggest flower shows of the year to showcase some of our fantastic greenhouses – after previously attending the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and Gardening Scotland.

Tatton Park will also feature various displays, including various pieces from the upcoming movie ‘The BFG’.

Local school children have been invited to create BFG inspired gardens and the show will also introduce ‘The Dream Library’, where everyone will be invited to write down their dreams on a luggage tag to share with everyone else.
