RHS Cardiff this weekend

Gardeners in Wales will be able to pick up some horticulture tips this weekend at the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) show.

The event will feature the work of landscape students from Bridgend College in the south of the country, it has been reported.

Law of Motion is a display inspired by the idea of "life as a journey", student Kristina Mould told Horticulture Week.

The 40 sq m garden is almost completed and is set to contain undulating turf filled with different types of pine cone.

It will also have ferns grown at the educational establishment and trees from Wyevale Nurseries.

The RHS show takes place from Friday (April 17th) until Sunday (April 19th) and precedes the famed Chelsea Flower Show in May.

Other upcoming events include the Hampton Court Palace and Tatton Park flower shows – both of which fall in July.
