RHS and NFU join forces
The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) and rural insurer NFU Mutual have announced an affinity partnership, which will see the financial services provider will become the RHSs exclusive cover provider.
Blanche Surman, affinity marketing executive at the lender, explains that under the terms of the deal, NFU Mutual will donate £10 to the society for every insurance policy it sells.
"This is an exciting prospect as RHS members will not only gain access to NFU Mutuals products and outstanding customer service but will be helping their organisation at the same time," she states.
Grant Tripp, licensing manager at RHS Enterprises, adds that the partnership is all the more exciting due to the fact that the two organisations share the same values of "excellence and environmental concerns".
Earlier this month, figures from the financial service provider suggested that a total of 33 per cent of gardening enthusiasts have been victims of theft from their green spaces.
