Project Dirt to Help Clean Up Preston

Residents in Preston are being encouraged to help clean up and re-plant a large flowerbed outside of the city’s famous Corn Exchange building.

Dubbed Project Dirt, anyone who is willing to help and give up their time will be offered a free bird feeder to construct at home.

A joint venture between Preston Environmental Forum Action Group and the Park Rangers, Project Dirt will also encapsulate a number of exciting projects across the wider city of Preston. It aims to create a creative, supportive and co-operative network of residents, community groups and faith groups who will come together and share ideas for the mutual benefit of the local community and Preston as a whole.

The Corn Exchange flowerbed activity will be taking place on 23rd March between 1pm and 3pm, and those interested have been asked to meet at the memorial statue.
