Pool house steals show from $10.5m mansion

A house for sale in Belle Terre for US$10.5 million (£7.4 million) may have its own guest wing, two kitchens and an elevator but its the pool house that really steals the show, it has been reported.

According to newsday.coms Kristin Taveria, the pool house is the mansions standout attraction, and its not hard to see why.

The structure has a large kitchen and bar area, a living room, two bathrooms and a laundry room and looks out over a semi-circular infinity-edge pool complete with an island hot tub and fountains.

Listing agent Miriam Ainbinder of Daniel Gale Sothebys International Realty told the news provider she thinks the pavilion is "phenomenal", highlighting how pool houses can be attractive to prospective homeowners.

Other features of the house include a tennis court, a guest cottage on the grounds with a kitchen and fireplace and outstanding views of the Long Island Sounds from a number of different vantage points.

Long Island Sound is an estuary between Connecticut and Long Island.
