Pick up a free tip at a gardens Open Day

Gardeners looking for some good advice and a nice day out need look no further than the Waterperry Gardens Open Day in January.

The January 25th event will be the Oxfordshire garden estates second Open Day and will grant guests access to areas that are normally off-limits.

Gardeners attending the free event will be able to get tours of the excellent ornamental gardens, orchards and plant nurseries, while staff will be on hand to provide hints and tips, according to horticultural manager Rob Jacobs.

"Few people are aware that the majority of the plants sold in Waterperrys plant centre are grown in on-site nurseries by our team of expert staff", he explained.

"We also produce around 13,000 bottles of our famous apple juice every year and this new event will give people the chance to find out so much more about Waterperry.

"Its a great opportunity to solve any mysteries you may have in your garden! Our team of experts will be happy to help identify pests or problems and to give advice about any aspect of gardening."

Gardeners will likely use the free event to seek advice from the experts about issues that affect their own garden and greenhouse.
