Keep conservatory documentation after its built
Homeowners who invest in a conservatory or bespoke glazed extension should keep all the relevant documents together with other paperwork relating to the property.
That is the advice of GB Liners general manager Jon Rollinson, who believes that doing so will lead to a smoother sales process when it comes time to move house.
"Compile a professional-looking file containing all house documentation," he said.
"Things like warranties on double glazing, conservatories or porches; proof of works or invoices for things like roofing or re-painting; service agreements for boilers [or] heating systems."
The removals expert also advises any potential sellers to de-clutter their homes and be prepared to put the work in researching estate agents and presenting the home in its best light.
Having all documentation ready and prepared will impress and reassure buyers thanks to the transparency of information presented to them.
