Horticultural Trade Association unveils spring plans
The Horticultural Trade Association has unveiled its PlantforLife campaign plans for spring 2009.
The promotional campaign will focus on wildlife, colour and the plants of the month throughout the spring period.
The campaign aims to raise awareness of the role that plants play in enhancing peoples lives.
After recently announcing a €1 million European funding package, HTA director general David Gwyther sounded delighted.
"As the only plant specific scheme of any significance going on in our industry PlantforLife continues to provide a fantastic resource for our members to utilise to raise awareness and inspire people about the benefit of plants," he said.
"With this latest branch of European funding secured and a dedicated professional team driving the campaign forward PlantforLife continues to go from strength to strength into the future."
One of the big themes of the campaign is colour and the HTA will work in conjunction with image consultancy Colour Me Beautiful to advise on colour choice for the garden and greenhouse.
