Greenhouse growers to get tips at developer barbeques

Brits with a passion for gardens and greenhouses who are considering moving to a new property may find the latest announcement from Barratt Homes interesting.

The firm has invited regular Jeremy Vine Show contributor Terry Walton to appear at a number of events.

He will attend a range of barbeques and open days at some of the companys showhomes in south Wales, distributing hints on growing to those with an interest.

Mr Walton was asked to attend as the developer has included a garden with each of its new homes, explained regional sales director Adrian Bird.

"We will be giving everyone free seeds on the day and serving up a delicious barbeque, so Id encourage homebuyers and anyone interested in horticultural matters to join us for a great day out," he said.

Those who sign up for a new residence will be given a signed book, a £50 seed pack and will also be entered into a prize draw to win a £3,000 landscaped garden.
