Greenhouse enthusiasts can bring the kids for free at Rosemoor

The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) has revealed its Garden Rosemoor venue will accept children under the age of 16 for free next month.

For the entirety of August, greenhouse enthusiasts can bring themselves, a partner and two kids to the site for £13.

As well as the usual array of gardening tips and attractions on offer, the venue will be hosting a number of themed weeks, such as the Africa-focused events beginning on August 1st.

Seven days will be dedicated to the continents plants and culture, with the restaurant serving food local to countries south of the Gibraltar Strait.

Other topics throughout August will include America, Asia and Australia, with each one having its own unique plant hunter trail to follow.

Activities will be laid on for kids, including African drumming lessons on August 4th.

Meanwhile, the RHS is set to host a number of Dig Together Days in September, where garden and greenhouse enthusiasts will be urged to share growing tips with others.
