Gardening opportunity offered by famous face

Horticultural aficionados will have a rare chance to visit the garden of Bunny Campione from the Antiques Roadshow in Lamarsh, near Sudbury, later this month.

The East Anglian Daily Times explains that the appraiser and her husband will show off unusual trees and shrubs as well as 100 different types of roses.

A wildflower meadow that was established in 1996 is also sure to be a highlight for any visiting gardening enthusiast.

Money raised by the event, which takes place on June 15th, will be donated to the Daws Hall Trust conservation charity, which the couple run together with their village church.

Major Iain Grahame, Ms Campiones husband, tells the resource: "I have decided to open the gardens for two reasons – to try and get people interested in series gardening and give people a chance to see rare and interesting plants."

Ms Campione worked at Sothebys for 23 years and specialises in appraising a range of artefacts, including miniature furniture, soft toys, bird cages and automation.
