Gardeners Question Time coming to Yorkshire in May
The first, scheduled to take place in Barnsley this Wednesday (May 4th), will see a panel of experts engage in discussion at Wentworth Castle Gardens, the Yorkshire Post reports.
Next week, the show – which was first broadcast in 1947 – moves to Clapham in North Yorkshire.
The Stainborough Park Heritage Trust has invited the panel to Wentworth, while a local society has opened its doors for the second event.
“Our programmes are hosted by various groups, mainly gardening clubs and horticultural societies – and it’s the group which invites the programme that is responsible for the distribution of the tickets,” a BBC spokesman said.
“Although groups tend to give the tickets to their own members first there’s usually enough space to include non-members.”
Tickets for both recording sessions cost £2.50
