Garden structures what the gardener makes of them

People eager to build structures in their green spaces – such as garden studios and offices – are only constrained by their own imaginations, an industry commentator has asserted.

Writing in online resource SeattlePI, Marty Wingate mentions that garden sheds are no longer just storage places for garden equipment which are confined to an unused corner of a lawn or tucked away at the back of a property.

"Todays shed is what the gardener makes of it," he adds.

He suggests that such edifices can now be used for a wide variety of activities, ranging from group meetings to childrens parties, as well as providing shelter for tender garden plants that cannot be left outside during the winter months.

In related news, online resource ByteStart recently reported that there is a growing trend among those people managing smaller firms to set up a purpose-built office base in their own garden.
