Garden museum offers greenhouse enthusiasts internship

Garden and greenhouse enthusiasts looking to make a career out of their hobby may be interested in a newly-advertised role.

One newly-qualified grower will be given the chance to take on a position at a national attraction.

The Garden Museum is seeking an interested party to learn from its designers and experts as part of an internship.

Whoever gets the placement will follow the sites head gardeners, nursery experts and landscapers – and will also have the opportunity to help with projects, such as building a new show garden for the Royal Horticultural Societys Chelsea Flower Show.

It will afford them the chance to work with designer Tom Stuart-Smith, with time split between working in the museums garden and learning from experts.

According to the site, the placement will offer an "unparalleled overview of Britains horticultural industry".

Meanwhile, interested parties can head to the upcoming First International Lavender Conference, which takes place from September 6th.
