Exclusive New York hotel to greet guests in huge conservatory

Visitors to Downtown New Yorks first ultra-luxury high-rise hotel will be welcomed through a dramatic two-storey conservatory.

The multi-million dollar Trump SoHo New York will open towards the end of 2009 and will be the finest New York hotel outside Midtown, according to the Trump Hotel Organisation.

Executive vice president of development and acquisitions, Ivanka Trump, explained that the hotel would offer its guests a unique experience.

"The opening of Trump SoHo New York will mark a number of firsts not only for Trump Hotel Collection, but for Downtown New York as well," she said.

"Aside from bringing the spacious rooms and top-notch amenities of a Midtown luxury hotel to SoHo, we will be home of the first outpost of the renowned Quattro restaurant in South Beach.

"Were the first and only hotel in New York to outfit our interiors with Fendi Casa. And youll find theres nothing like The Spa at Trump anywhere in the city."

As Ms Trump mentioned, there will be a 190-seat Quattro restaurant spanning three levels which will also serve high tea in the lobby and cater for the 12,000 sq foot banquet room.

Donald Trump, who is also involved in the project, is the star of the US version of TV show the Apprentice.
