Eight Year Battle for Greenhouse

Buying a bespoke greenhouse that fits well in to your garden could not be easier when you order from Gabriel Ash, but spare a thought for a man in Yorkshire who has been battling for eight years to build a structure on his land.

The owner of a hanging basket firm has been fighting planners for eight years to build greenhouses on a neighbouring, four-acre, piece of land he owns, which would grow up to 20,000 blooms for hanging basket displays around the world.

However an access query is blocking the job creation scheme.

Fortunately, the vast majority of personal greenhouses do not require planning permission. Gabriel Ash is happy to provide advice to anyone with concerns on this issue.

There is also advice on the Gabriel Ash website http://www.gabrielash.com/planning-permission.html
