Disney hosts international garden festival

US gardeners looking to combine their passion with some family fun may look to treat themselves to a trip to Disney World in Florida this month.

The theme park is hosting the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival from today (March 18th) until May 31st.

Gardeners will be able to take in an array of displays from bedding plants to whimsical topiaries.

Disneys gardening crew will also be on hand to answer questions and distribute advice, while visitors will be treated to a series of classic 1960s and 1970s hits at the "Flower Power" concerts.

The festival will include a number of demonstrations and attendees can head to Minnies Magnificent Butterfly Garden to have a look at the wildlife.

Displays from around the world will be available to guests, with the Twinnings English Tea Garden and Guerlain Fragrance Garden being just two of the highlights.

Disney has a number of theme park venues in Florida, including the Magic Kingdom, Blizzard Beach, Animal Kingdom and Typhoon Lagoon.
