Child greenhouse enthusiasts given free entry to event

The organisers of a forthcoming horticulture event have revealed children will be allowed in for free.

For every adult attending the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Hampton Court Palace Flower Show, two kids will be allowed in without charge.

Taking place from July 7th until 12th, the celebration will give greenhouse enthusiasts the opportunity to share their passion with the youngsters.

Over the course of the event, there will be a number of activities to interest both adults and kids, with a family-specific weekend taking place during the last two days.

"Getting children gardening, being outdoors, discovering nature and learning is core to the RHS and this action-packed event provides fun and inspiration for all the family," explained show manager Mandy Almond.

Young visitors will be able to learn about cooking freshly grown food, as well as see a range of wildlife.

For adults, the organisation recently revealed a theme will be growing your own curry, with some of the worlds spiciest chillies on display.
