Chelsea Centenary Celebration Vote

The RHS Chelsea Flower Show celebrates its centenary this year, and as part of the celebrations, the RHS has assembled an expert panel to select the top ten plants launched at the Chelsea Flower Show since its inception in 1913.

The panel had to select one plant for each decade of the past 100 years, and after much debate, the shortlist has been whittled down. Each plant selected has stood the test of time and still feature prominently in modern gardens.

The panel included Bob Sweet of the RHS Shows department, Dr Brent Elliot of the RHS Lindley Library, Colin Crosbie, Curator at RHS Wisley and well known writers and broadcasters, Peter Seakbrook, Roy Lancaster, Rachel De Thame and Carol Klein.

THE RHS are now asking for the public to vote on the shortlist, with a winner to be announced on the final day of the show.
