Changing Rooms star to appear at Garden Wisley
A famous face from the world of TV home improvement show Changing Rooms is set to appear at a Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) site to open a garden he designed himself.
Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and his wife Jackie will be present on August 25th to open the Agriframes Garden at RHS Wisley.
The home decor expert created the display himself based around the concept of offering colour at various times of the year.
A combination of roses, wisterias and other varieties are to keep visitors interested as they burst into bloom during different months.
Many of the plants included have been grown around arches and a gothic pagoda, with sponsors Agriframes’ influence notable in the number of climbing specimens.
Children are being granted free access to RHS Garden Wisley during August and those in attendance on the opening day will be able to have fun with the Great Garden Adventure, marvel at the magician and enjoy the puppet show.
Meanwhile, the RHS is hosting its Dig Together Day next month, where garden and greenhouse fans old and new will be encouraged to help each other out in community projects.
