Britain aiming for tree-planting record

The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) is urging garden and greenhouse enthusiasts to show their support for the BBC Tree OClock event, which takes place on Saturday December 5th.

With 250,000 people across 67 counties already showing their support, it is hoped even more will join the campaign and set a new Guinness World Record.

Those wishing to pledge their support can head to the BBC Tree OClock events online space.

Meanwhile, the RHS offers advice on sourcing, buying, planting and maintaining trees on its website, along with tips on growing many other plants.
