APL and SGD autumn workshop at Kew Gardens

Gardeners have little over a week left to book their place on the Association of Professional Landscapers (APL) and Society of Garden Designers (SGD) autumn workshop.

Bookings must be made by Thursday September 25th for the event, which takes place at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.

The workshop should provide an excellent chance for gardeners to get together and learn from experienced garden landscapers and designers.

Speakers will include Kews Tony Kirkham, who will explain how the treetop walkways were realised and Mark Gregory of Landform Consultants, who will give tips on how to create a show garden.

The event will also cover issues such as the use of unknown and untried materials on projects, and the key documents needed to avoid unnecessary delays and costs when landscaping a garden.

There will of course be ample time to explore the aforementioned treetop walkways and greenhouses in depth as well as enjoy a light lunch with fellow garden-lovers.
