2009 APL Awards seeking entrants
The Association of Professional Landscapers (APL) is inviting its members to enter its 2009 APL Awards.
Gardeners will be watching with interest as some of the UKs top landscapers compete for the crown.
This year will see a new category added: The Young Achiever Award.
This will be given to the individual who has made the most significant progress out of all landscapers under the age of 25.
Other categories include front garden, commercial garden and a range of project values.
Landform Consultants managing director and head judge Mark Gregory is encouraging members to enter.
"With many different award categories there will be at least one that will fit a project you have taken pride in," he said.
"The APL awards recognise projects produced by members of all sizes so dont be put off if you think youre too small.
"There is work in pulling your application together but the rewards from success will make it seem like nothing and the boost to your team from an award cannot be achieved in any other way. I know from experience!"
