Gardeners looking for something to do tonight should take a break from the greenhouse, relax and watch someone else do the work.
Sadly this doesnt mean someone will come and tend to their gardens. As exciting as that would be, BBC2 is to screen Gardener of the Decade which is sure to interest anyone with a love of greenhouses.
The programme will be set in the Eden Projects giant Cornwall greenhouse with Rachel de Thame and Joe Swift presenting.
It will feature five former BBC Gardeners of the Year battling it out in a contest to crown one of them the gardening king or queen of the decade.
According to the Guardians TV listings, the challenges include border maintenance and speed weeding – skills that every gardener should have.
Suttons marketing manager Tom Sharples recently criticised TVs coverage of fruit growing in Horticulture Week.
"We need to produce more information about fruit," he said.
"TV-wise there could be more coverage of new techniques."
