Snap up garden and greenhouse show tickets now

The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) is giving garden and greenhouse enthusiasts a chance to get themselves in the mood for the new growing season.

It has released tickets for its 2011 shows, which take place throughout the spring and summer, starting with the RHS Show Cardiff.

The Welsh event kicks off the show season from April 8th to 10th and visitors can expect to see a variety of spring blooms.

It precedes, the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, which is known as the pinnacle of the gardening world.

"It’s the place to see; and to be seen at," the organisation said. "Tickets always sell out, so be quick."

The event runs from May 24th to 28th and is often covered by TV and attended by some of the UK’s rich and famous.

The Hampton Court Palace Flower Show and the RHS Show Tatton Park, which run from July 5th to 10th and 20th to 24th respectively, are also worth a visit.

In other news, a recent survey of the UK’s autumn weather showed nothing out of the ordinary, the RHS reported.
