Show set to offer some European inspiration
American gardeners looking to experience France in the springtime can do so in February – without ever setting foot in Europe.
Hundreds of thousands of garden-and-greenhouse-lovers are expected to descend on the 66th Annual Fifth Third Bank Home and Garden Show at the I-X Centre in Cleveland.
The event takes place between February 7th and February 15th and is set to celebrate the "Romance of France" as its theme, according to thesurbanite.com.
With 20 acres of inspiration to explore, gardeners will be sure to pick up a few growing tips to take back to their own greenhouses.
Also on offer will be live music, cookery demos, seminars and two full-sized walk-through log homes.
With tickets set from just $10 per adult in advance, the show is set to be an entertaining and wallet-friendly event for gardeners from all across the US.
Writing in his column in the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Linn Mills recently recommended that gardeners looking for a nice rose to grow should try Pink Promise.
It is disease-resistant, fragrant and offers a lovely contrast of dark green foliage with the pink of the head.
