RHS puts tickets on sale for Autumn Harvest Show

Garden and greenhouse enthusiasts may be interested to learn that the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) has made tickets available for one of its upcoming events.

The RHS Autumn Harvest Show will take place at the RHS Horticultural Halls on October 5th and 6th.

It will feature displays from some of the country’s top experts, including a few who have already won honours at RHS shows this year.

One example is Jon Wheatley, who will team up with Winchester Growers to deliver a fine exhibition of flowers and fresh produce.

The expert won gold at the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show and RHS Chelsea Flower Show earlier this year for his dahlia displays, as well as helping to design the gold medal-winning feature Home Grown at the former.

Meanwhile, florist Interflora will also show why it won gold at RHS Chelsea by creating a massive hanging curtain of flowers and foliage.

In other news, the RHS has revealed that British Waterways is to use a tiny insect to help it clear weeds from a Somerset canal.
