Property market looks more positive

Brits looking to build a value-adding conservatory may be interested in recent comments suggesting the industry is looking more positive.

Recent Bank of England figures show both enquiries and transaction levels have increased of late.

Its recent Agents Summary of Business Conditions report suggested there has been cause for optimism for five consecutive months and stated the worst of the crash is now over.

However, independent expert Malcolm Harrison explained some areas still need to improve more than others.

"London and the south-east have got a lot more to pick up than the rest of the country and there will still be a lot of investment landlords who bought into the peak developments who will not be getting a return," he said.

The specialist did admit there had been signs of increasing positivity over the past few months.

Meanwhile, a report by Ratedpeople.com recently revealed adding a conservatory can increase a propertys value by around five per cent.
