Peter Rabbit garden to open in May
Gardeners keen to encourage their children and grandchildren to take an interest in working in the garden and the greenhouse will soon be able to treat them to a trip to a new themed garden in the Lake District.
The World of Beatrix Potter attraction is to add a Peter Rabbit-themed garden which will open in May next year.
The popular books and a recently released film starring Renee Zellweger are sure to make the garden a success with kids of all ages.
Already a favourite destination in the UK, the Lake District will be boosted by the Miss Potter film and now the Peter Rabbit Naturally Better Garden.
It will welcome visitors through a specially-designed potting shed and will feature scenes from the Peter Rabbit stories.
The garden will feature a variety of organically-grown fruit trees and gooseberry bushes, all of which can be grown in the garden.
Finally, gardeners will also be able to get on-site gardening and greenhouse advice from a resident horticulturalist.
