Gardeners looking to pick up a bargain or two for their greenhouse or yard may wish to know that Trehane Nursery is set to hold a sale starting tomorrow (March 28th).
According to Horticulture Week, the Dorset retailer will be offering large plants reduced from £55 to £18 and 30-litre plants down to £30 from £100 or more.
Sunday (March 29th) marks the official beginning of British Summer Time and gardeners will be putting their clocks forward knowing they will soon be enjoying an extra hour in the greenhouse preparing for the warmer weather.
Based in Wimborne in Dorset, Trehane Nurserys sale will continue until the end of April, according to owner Jeremy Trehane.
However, he warned gardeners to expect a tussle to grab the best bargains on Saturday and Sunday.
"Because of the huge scale of our sale, the first weekend is always incredibly busy," he explained.
Meanwhile, garden centres across the country celebrated a Mothers Day sales bonanza last weekend.
