Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen to open RHS garden

Garden and greenhouse enthusiasts visiting the Royal Horticultural Society’s (RHS) Garden Wisley later this month may spot a famous face from the world of television.

Changing Rooms star Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and his wife Jackie will be in attendance on August 25th to help reopen the Agriframes Garden.

The attraction has been renovated and was designed by the expert especially for the RHS.

It is aimed at providing visitors with inspiration for their own garden and greenhouse environments and features arches and a gothic gazebo which are used as climbing frames for roses, wisteria and other plants.

The design focuses on prolonging the garden’s aesthetic impact over many months of the year, with different plants flowering at different times.

Opening day celebrations include entertainment for children such as the Great Garden Adventure for families, a magician and puppet show.

Kids under 16 also get to visit Garden Wisley for free during the month of August.

Agriframes is a company which specialises in growing frames for the garden.
