Kids to go free at RHS Rosemoor events

Garden and greenhouse enthusiasts looking to treat their kids to a day out that they might also enjoy may wish to head to the Royal Horticultural Societys (RHS) Garden Rosemoor this August.

The site will be allowing children in free of charge for the entire month, meaning a family of two adults and two under-16s will be granted entry for £13.

A number of events will be held during the month, which should provide entertainment for all the family.

From August 1st to 7th, an African Plant Hunter trail will be available, while visitors can also get a drumming lesson on August 4th from 11:00 BST.

Other events include a focus on Asia, Australia and America, with each taking place for a week during August.

The restaurant will contain global themed dishes and children will be able to take part in a variety of activities, while adults enjoy picking up some greenhouse and garden tips.

Meanwhile, the RHS is set to host a number of Dig Together Days in September, where growers will be urged to bestow some of their knowledge onto others.
