Kansas greenhouse lovers invited on garden tour
Greenhouse enthusiasts in Kansas City have been invited to visit a number of green spaces belonging to master gardeners.
The tour will take place on Friday and Saturday (June 12th and 13th) and is called At Home in the Garden.
Featuring five unique sites, the event should provide horticulture lovers with a range of ideas.
Tickets cost $10 and members of the Master Gardeners of Greater Kansas City will be on hand to distribute tips and advice.
A Collectors Dream will allow visitors to view plants from all four seasons in a cottage-style setting.
Meanwhile, A Contemplative Garden will provide 23 different areas to sit and take some time for quiet reflection.
For those who yearn for life on the farm, Whimsical Memories reflects the owners own horticultural recollection of growing up in the country.
A Rainbow of Colour features over 2,000 blooming bulbs and 1,000 roses, while An Eclectic Cottage Garden will allow attendees to see a number of styles in one location.
Meanwhile, fosters.com recently cited a ten-year-old Colorado State University paper in advising that non-alcoholic Kingsbury Malt Beverage, Michelob and Budweiser are all beers that will attract and drown slugs.
