Glass-rich concept home sold

A concept home which makes extensive use of glazing in its design has been sold off-plan in Lichfield near Birmingham, it has been reported.

Online resource the Birmingham Post explains that the computer-generated images of the property show "soaring" glass panels which run from floor to ceiling in a number of the rooms.

Additional natural light floods into the property through numerous completely retractable sliding glass panel windows.

Five bedrooms and five bathrooms are planned for the property and a feeling of space will be created by high ceilings and one room of double height.

The main bedroom will also enjoy a view over an infinity swimming pool.

It sold for around £2 million.

Meanwhile, interior design consultancy firm At Home recently stated that people wishing to make their living space feel larger can make use of mirrors to create the illusion of extra room via reflections and additional light.
