Gardening show in Ohio this weekend

This weekend sees the Building Industry Association of Licking County host its 30th Home and Garden Show.

Greenhouse enthusiasts can pick up some gardening tips at the event, which takes place from Friday (March 27th) until Sunday (March 29th).

Costing $3 for adults and nothing for children under 13, the three-day expo is set to offer a range of workshops from Sarah Loves Back Yard Critters to Catch the Wave: Landscaping to Conserve Water.

Those who pick up a catalogue at the show also stand the chance of winning a $1,000 shopping spree.

A range of exhibitors will be in attendance to give advice on garden and home design.

It takes place at the Bryn Du Fieldhouse in Granville, Ohio, for the first time this year and is one of a number of upcoming gardening events as the US welcomes in the warmer weather.

Disneys Epcot theme park is presently holding an international flower and garden show while in other news, Michelle Obama recently began work on the White Houses new vegetable garden.
