Gardeners invited to greenhouse attraction

Garden enthusiasts have been invited to a major greenhouse attraction to pick up hints and tips from the experts.

The Eden Project is allowing visitors to meet some of their horticultural team during their tea breaks, giving them an opportunity to ask any pressing questions.

Experts at the site will be happy to provide information on the activities underway at the Cornwall glass house and what growers can get up to in their own green space.

Temperate curator Rob Brett explained that April, May and June are the months that UK gardens look their best.

"So come and see our Plane Tree Steps, Blue and White Borders and the Silver Staircase with its ornate Allium cristophii, Star of Persia," he told horticulture fans.

Mr Brett added that there is a lot going on at the Eden Project, with sowing, planting, feeding and tending work to be done.

The attraction is even entering its own display garden at the Royal Horticultural Society Chelsea Flower Show, which runs from May 25th to 29th.
