Garden tips available this summer at RHS Wisley
Greenhouse owners will be able to pick up tips from a panel of experts at Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Garden Wisley this summer.
The Surrey site is set to host a number of events over the next few months, beginning with the Carnation Open Day in June.
Other events will allow gardeners to pick up hints on vegetable growing, perennial shrubs and will also give them a chance to take part in some berry tasting.
The centre operates a trials scheme, which sees a team of experts study plant specimens for between one and three years before deciding whether they deserve the Award of Garden Merit.
Its team will be on hand at each of the open days to discuss horticultural issues with visitors.
The RHS recently announced it is to make grants of £500 available to schools across the UK to help them establish their own green spaces.
