Garden groupings change at Chelsea Flower Show

This years Chelsea Flower Show will be different to previous years events, its organisers have announced.

According to the Royal Horticultural Society, the 2008 event will see small gardens grouped together according to whether they offer a countryside retreat or a contemporary urban space.

In previous years, such gardens were categorised into city, chic, roof or courtyard and were clustered together as such.

A total of 22 small gardens will be entered in the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, including an urban idyll designed by Kazuyuki Ishihara which is based around the notion of building dens which lead to secret worlds.

In contrast to this, Sue Hayward from Earthly Garden Designs has created a space which reflects the life of a Shetland crofter.

The 2008 RHS Chelsea Flower Show takes place from May 20th – 24th at the Royal Hospital in Chelsea, London and tickets range in price from £18 – £46.

As usual Gabriel Ash will be exhibiting a range of greenhouses at Chelsea and our stand position is Royal Hopsital Way 41.
