College students prepared for RHS Cardiff

Gardeners attending the upcoming Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) show in Cardiff will be able to see the work of landscape design students from Bridgend College in south Wales, it has been reported.

The trainees are close to completing their Law of Motion garden, according to Horticulture Week.

Inspired by the concept of "life as a journey", the exhibit will be on display at this weekends show, which begins on Friday (April 17th).

Students at the Welsh college are set to unveil their 40 sq m design in time for the beginning of the show.

It will feature undulating turf filled with pine cones as well as a number of ferns grown at the college and trees from Wyevale Nurseries.

The event follows the recent RHS Greener Gardening Show, where an historic daffodil variety stall proved so popular that the owners have decided to sell their produce online, according to the news provider.
