Big plans for conservatory parts firm

Conservatory parts manufacturer EYG Group has plans for expansion, it has been revealed.

The firm is opening a new regional installation centre in Spalding, with about 30 new jobs to be created.

A spokesperson adds that the company is likely to service a range of glazing industries in the region.

"We dont just sell conservatories and home improvement packages," explains joint managing director Nick Ward.

"We are now one of the leading providers of total glazing solutions to the commercial sector, working on major projects including housing developments."

EYG Group also supplies a number of other home construction parts incorporating glass with uPVC or wooden frames.

Sliding doors are among the products available from the firm, which states that "a little lubrication" of locks and rollers is enough to keep such entrances working smoothly.

Meanwhile, wiping frames over with soapy water should ensure sliding doors remain looking clean, the company adds.
