A leading hotel in Teesdale has recognised the benefits of having a bespoke conservatory built.

Headlam Hall, near Gainford, is having the conservatory designed and built by Stockton-based firm Vetro Vivo.

As part of its new Orangery restaurant, the new conservatory, which features bespoke joinery, will replace the existing one which has since become outdated.

The conservatorys design has been developed in conjunction with English Heritage to make sure it is in line with the hotels grade-II listed building.

Commenting on the new conservatory, a statement from Headlam Hall said: "Inside there will be a limestone flagged floor and high glass ceiling using the latest glazing technology to give a classical elegant ambience."

Work to construct the new conservatory will begin during the first quarter of this year and has been planned to minimise disruption to the hotels guests.

Headlam Hall was recently awarded the Taste Durham Highest Quality Assured Award and the Taste Durham Local Champion Award for the high quality of its restaurants cuisine."ADNFCR-1495-ID-19062655-ADNFCR"
