The results of Anglia in Bloom have been announced, with the historic town of Brightlingsea taking the overall winners award at the ceremony in Norwich.
The town is no stranger to the awards after winning Best Large Town last year.
Brightlingsea mayor Graham Steady said the award shows just how much work the people of the town have put in.
"Really it is just another in a long line of awards which Brightlingsea in Bloom has achieved over the years – it has gone from strength to strength," he told Suffolk and Essex online.
"And it shows the strength of the community – I always think when I see the displays how do you better that? but they keep and improving on what they have got and long may that continue."
