The Rosemoor with cold framesAll the greenhouses in the RHS Collection are designed in such a way to easily accept cold frames. The cold frames can be placed on either side of the greenhouse or both if you prefer. Alternatively you may choose to place the cold frames at the plain end of the greenhouse. Originally cold frames were placed on the cold side of the greenhouse and generally used for the hardening off of plants as a halfway house between the greenhouse and the garden. Cold frames are a great way to hugely increase your greenhouse propogation space for a modest cost. The cold frames are made from the same generous cedar boarding that is employed on the glasshouse and the design is such that the pane centres marry in with those of the greenhouse. Like our greenhouses the cold frame lids are glazed in toughened safety glass. Launched at the recent Chelsea Flower Show the cold frames proved to be a welcome addition to the RHS Collection of greenhouses. Like our free standing cold frame range each frame provides ample space to accept healthy plants. Should you prefer your greenhouse to be on a dwarf wall rather than having cedar boarding we are able to provide cold frame lids to suit. We would provide you with a drawing for the preparation of the base. A gabriel ash greenhouse is designed with both the gardener and plants in mind and this attractive addition to the RHS greenhouse collection provides you with the complete package to fulfil your gardening needs. If you have any further questions about the Rosemoor with coldframes please call 0845 434 8897 or send us an email. Alternatively we will happily send you our greenhouse brochure. |
