Perhaps our greenhouse’s most notable feature is the unique reinforced roof design, providing even ventilation along the full length of the ridge, and aluminium capping adding further protection for the Red Cedar at its most vulnerable point along the apex. This eliminates the need for opening roof lights, encouraging more uniform growing conditions throughout the greenhouse, and allowing for optimum roof glass area. Choose from heat-sensitive wax pistons for automatic venting or manual control.

Discreet aluminium cappings along the roof timbers and cills of our Red Cedar greenhouses ensure complete rainwater run-off points where moisture would otherwise collect. Aluminium gutters and down pipes adds further strength and durability, whilst effectively carrying away heavy rainfall. The toughened safety glass is properly rebated with no overlapping, and firmly screwed down tight against gasket seals on the underside of the roof cappings. This provides your greenhouse with the storm and wind-proofing standards you have come to expect in modern double-glazed windows at home. The frame is constructed in a time-honoured way with mortise and tenon joints, glued and pinned using stainless steel. And of course, premium grade Red Cedar is used throughout every Gabriel Ash greenhouse–including the interior staging. With carpentry that invites comparison with the finest furniture in your home, for you the garden isn’t a place for compromise.
