Vinehouse
Many customers ask for a Gabriel Ash Lean-to greenhouse in their garden but haven’t got a high enough wall. It’s a common problem, and the reason that we designed our range of Gabriel Ash Vinehouses.
Based on the classic Victorian design of a ¾ lean-to, a Vinehouse not only utilizes a rear wall as a heat sink to absorb and then slowly release the heat of the sun, but also due to its ridge, has more ventilation than you would find in a standard lean-to greenhouse.
Commonly used for fruit trees and grape vines (hence the name Vinehouse) the offset nature of the door in all but the smallest vinehouse means the customer can have staging and shelving down the glazed side and still have enough room for a raised bed against the main wall to grow all number of exotic fruits and vegetables.
